Make-A-Wish Children Appointed "Godchildren" Of The Disney Wish

It's a tradition that new cruise ships appoint a "Godmother". Mariah Carey is the Godmother of the Disney Fantasy, and Jennifer Hudson is the Godmother of the Disney Dream. Somewhat breaking that tradition, Disney has today announced that for the Disney Wish, "Godchildren" will be appointed instead. All Make-A-Wish children, including past, present and future wish recipients, will be honoured as godchildren of the Disney Wish.

The Make-A-Wish godchildren will play a very special part in the christening of the Disney Wish, which will be live-streamed on June 29th, 2022.
