Breaking news: This story is being updated as new information about the Disney Believe is shared with us. Last updated 7th October 2026, 10:34pm
Disney Believe, Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, due to set sail in late 2027, had its full reveal on 7th October 2026 during a livestream on the Disney Parks YouTube channel, and we now know where it's sailing from and what's on board. The maiden voyage is on 18th December 2027, starting a run of 4 and 5-night Bahamian cruises from Fort Lauderdale, with the first Encanto stage show and a Zootropolis-themed event space leading the new additions. Bookings open on 19th October 2026.
Fort Lauderdale is the part UK guests need to know about. Disney doesn't provide transport from Walt Disney World to Fort Lauderdale, so anyone hoping to add a Disney Believe sailing to a park holiday will need to make their own way down there, either on the Brightline train from Orlando International Airport (MCO), which takes about 3 hours, or by flying into Miami and visiting Walt Disney World before or after the cruise.
Article Summary

Read on for the full breakdown including how the new venues compare with the Disney Wish, the options for getting to Fort Lauderdale from the UK and the first look at the staterooms and suites.
When Does The Disney Believe Set Sail?
Bookings open on Monday 19th October 2026, 12 days after the reveal, and the maiden voyage departs Fort Lauderdale on Saturday 18th December 2027. From there the ship settles into 4 and 5-night Bahamian cruises.
It's the fourth Wish-class ship, following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, and the details revealed on 7th October 2026 add to what Disney had already shown, including the Moana statue in the Grand Hall and Woody and Buzz on the stern.
How Do UK Guests Get To The Disney Believe In Fort Lauderdale?
This is where the Believe is less convenient for a Brit than the ships sailing from Port Canaveral. Walt Disney World guests can get Disney transport (or drive themselves) to Port Canaveral, but Disney doesn't provide transport from Walt Disney World to Fort Lauderdale, so a park and cruise combo means sorting the journey south yourself.
The two main options are the Brightline train from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Fort Lauderdale, which takes about 3 hours, or flying into Miami and travelling up to Walt Disney World before or after your cruise. Virgin Atlantic flies to Miami from London Heathrow, and you can compare flights to Miami and Orlando from UK airports here.
If you're building the park side of the trip first, Walt Disney World packages with Disney Holidays and Virgin Holidays both fly into MCO, which keeps the Brightline option open at the end. Our guide to Walt Disney World offers for UK guests covers the current deals.
What Restaurants Are On The Disney Believe?
Disney cruises use rotational dining, which means you move between the main restaurants on different nights while your serving team moves with you. Worlds of Marvel and 1923 both return from the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. The new restaurant is Oaken's Table, a Frozen-themed dinner show in the same mould as Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure on the Wish.

Disney Believe Bars, Lounges And Coffee Shops
The Haunted Mansion Parlor is coming aboard, making the Believe the third ship with the adults-only Haunted Mansion bar after the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. The pub is called Skygazers and is themed to the night sky, with Disney characters picked out among the stars.
The Wish's piano bar, Nightingale's, becomes Sea Notes on the Believe, themed to The Little Mermaid.

Where the Wish has The Bayou, the Believe has a Snow White-themed lounge built around a wishing well.

For daytime caffeine there are two coffee shops, one themed to Baymax from Big Hero 6 and one to Moana, which ties in with the Moana-themed Grand Hall.
Disney Believe Family Venues And Kids Club
Gazelle is the Believe's Zootropolis-themed event space (Zootopia outside the UK), filling the same role as Luna on the Disney Wish, and Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps will be doing meet and greets there.
The sweet shop sticks with the Inside Out theme from the Wish's Inside Out: Joyful Sweets, but adds the newer emotions from Inside Out 2 to the original five. The kids club entrance is themed to Monsters, Inc.
What Shows Are On The Disney Believe?
Two theatre shows have been announced. One is based on Tangled, and the other is an Encanto stage show, which gives the Believe something you can't see on any other Disney ship.

Disney Believe Staterooms And Suites
The Tower Suite, the top-tier suite built into the ship's funnel, is themed to Magic Kingdom.

There are two Concierge Royal Suites on board, and each one gets its own film. Royal Reef is themed to The Little Mermaid, while Royal Rose takes its look from Beauty and the Beast.

The rest of the concierge rooms, the premium tier with their own lounge and dedicated team, are themed to Peter Pan.

The concept art for standard staterooms so far shows two styles, one themed to Toy Story and one to Moana.

How Does The Disney Believe Compare With The Disney Wish?
The Believe follows the Wish's layout closely, so most venues have a direct equivalent with a new theme.
| Venue Type | Disney Wish | Disney Believe |
|---|---|---|
| Grand Hall | Cinderella | Moana |
| Family event space | Luna | Gazelle (Zootropolis) |
| Frozen dinner show | Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure | Oaken's Table |
| Sweet shop | Inside Out: Joyful Sweets | Inside Out theme with Inside Out 2 characters added |
| Piano bar | Nightingale's | Sea Notes (The Little Mermaid) |
| Themed lounge | The Bayou | Snow White wishing well lounge |
| Haunted Mansion Parlor | No (on the Treasure and Destiny instead) | Yes |
Disney Believe details from the livestream on 7th October 2026. Disney Wish venues correct at the time of writing.
Should UK Guests Wait For The Disney Believe?
If you want the Encanto show or Oaken's Table, you'll have to wait for 18th December 2027 or later, as neither is on any other ship. If the Haunted Mansion Parlor is the main draw, the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny already have it, and the Destiny already sails from Fort Lauderdale, so the same travel planning applies there now.
Here's what the reveal means for a UK trip.
- Bookings open on 19th October 2026, so you have 12 days from the reveal to settle on dates and a stateroom shortlist.
- A Walt Disney World and Disney Believe combo needs your own transfer, since Disney's transport doesn't run to Fort Lauderdale.
- Flying into MCO keeps the Brightline option open, with about 3 hours on the train to Fort Lauderdale and a short transfer to the port at the other end.
- Flying into Miami puts you closer to the ship, with Walt Disney World before or after the cruise.
