No Longer "Fully Vaccinated" After 7 Months In France, Boosters Required For Travel Starting In 2022

News - DLP
26-Nov-2021

The French government has announced changes to their travel and Health Pass requirements.

The French government says starting January 15th 2022, citizens and travellers are no longer deemed as "fully vaccinated" 7 months after their second COVID-19 vaccine dose. Once 7 months has passed, their Health pass (which is required to enter restaurants, shows, and Disneyland Paris) will be invalid.

Also, unvaccinated children previously needed to take a PCR/antigen test every 72 hours (with results uploaded to the Health Pass app) to be valid, that is now being reduced to 24 hours.

  • You will not be able to travel to France 7 months after your second COVID-19 vaccine. You must get your booster jab to be considered "fully vaccinated".
  • Unvaccinated children aged 12-17 need to take a PCR/antigen test every 24 hours and upload to Health Pass app
  • Children under 12 do not need to be vaccinated or take tests

  • All travellers are still required to complete a passenger locator form before returning to the UK, and all travellers aged 4+ will need to arrange a "Day 2 Lateral Flow Antigen Arrivals Test" "Mandatory PCR Day 2 Covid-19 Test" before they travel to take when they return.
