Star Wars Day at Disney Store: What's On on 4th May 2026

If you happen to be near Oxford Street or Dublin city centre on Monday 4th May, Disney Store is worth a detour - both locations are running a full day of Star Wars events for the occasion, with activities for families and fans throughout the day.

The events are taking place at Disney Store London Oxford Street and Disney Store Dublin on Monday 4th May 2026 (which is a bank holiday), kicking off with a Star Wars Opening Ceremony at both stores. So make sure you're there for the store opening!

What's On at Disney Store This Star Wars Day

Jedi Training Academy (London and Dublin)

Young visitors can take part in an interactive Jedi Training Academy session. It'll include learning some moves, channelling the Force and generally being encouraged to wave things around in a controlled environment. It's the same concept as the popular Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple experience at the Disney parks, scaled down for a store setting.

501st Legion Appearance (London and Dublin)

The 501st Legion - the volunteer costuming group known for their impressively screen-accurate stormtrooper and villain armour - will be making appearances at both stores. If you're not familiar with the 501st, they're essentially the gold standard of Star Wars cosplay, and getting a photo with them is often the highlight for both kids and the adults who are definitely only there for the kids.

Speeder Make and Take (London and Dublin)

A craft activity where families can build their own Star Wars-inspired speeder to take home. These tend to be aimed at younger visitors and are often a good way to keep smaller ones entertained.

LEGO Smart Play Demo (London Only)

London gets an extra activity in the form of a LEGO Smart Play demonstration, showcasing interactive Star Wars building sets.

Is It Worth Going?

For families already in London or Dublin that day, this is an easy yes - it's in-store, it's free to attend, and the 501st Legion appearances alone tend to be popular. If you have to travel specifically for it, these events are usually worth a visit. Disney Store events like this can get busy, particularly in London - getting there earlier in the day is often the sensible move if you want to make the most of the activities.
