Disney Sequoia Lodge renovation
Disneyland Paris has confirmed that Disney Sequoia Lodge - the woodland-themed hotel that has been welcoming guests since 1992 - is undergoing a major renovation, with work already getting underway since the start of 2026.
The first phase focuses on the outdoor lodges: five separate buildings set within a forest of sequoia trees, away from the main hotel building. All rooms across these lodges will be refurbished, with the new look drawing on Disney and Pixar films set in the natural world.
New room themes
There will be three themed room designs available once the renovation is complete:
- Bambi - inspired by Disney Animation's 1942 classic
- Pocahontas - celebrating the 1995 film
- Brave - based on the Pixar Studios film from 2012
Disney says the new interiors will "pay tribute to the beauty of nature" - which sounds like it will keep the warm, forested feel the hotel has always had, just with a cleaner, more contemporary design direction.
When will the new rooms be ready?
The refurbished outdoor lodge rooms are expected to be available from the first quarter of 2027 - so early in the year. After that, the renovation will roll out to the rest of the hotel progressively, covering the main building rooms, lobby, restaurant, and shopping and recreation areas.
The hotel will remain open throughout, so you can still book a stay during the works - though it's worth bearing in mind that some areas may be under wraps depending on when you visit.
