Our review of Brasserie Rosalie at Disney Village, Disneyland Paris
This year, a new restaurant - Brasserie Rosalie - opened in Disney Village, Disneyland Paris. This restaurant replaces the old Cafe Mickey character dining location that closed during the lockdowns which never reopened.
✅ Lovely new restaurant. Much more elegant than I expected with the staff dressed well. For a comparison, it sort of feels like a posh Prezzo
✅ Very nice, professional and friendly service. Sense of humour as well, can you believe it!
👎 Tables are close together so can be quite claustrophobic at busy times
💰 Quite pricey, especially soft drinks
Disneyland Paris doesn't have many good food options, but Brasserie Rosalie is a welcome addition and we overall enjoyed our meal here. The menu is quite seafood-heavy, but there's plenty there for people who don't eat much seafood (like myself).
The restaurant is very nice inside and outside. I love the exterior design and it carries well inside as well. Brasserie Rosalie is much more elegant than I expected with all the staff dressed very well. For a comparison, it sort of feels like a posh Prezzo. To be honest, it almost feels out of place in Disney Village.
The service here was very good as well. We had a super friendly server who had quite a sense of humour. We made our orders and the bread basket arrived. It didn't come with any butter or anything, but I had gravy to dip it into. The bread was very rustic and tough, but soft in the middle.
We just popped in for lunch so we just tried the Toulouse Pork Sausage and the Champagne Roasted Scallops.
The sausage was nice and meaty, and while the mash was nice, I couldn't quite decipher if it was freshly mashed or frozen. I enjoyed it all though. The only criticism is that, as with most things in France, it was served warm and not piping hot.
The scallops were a hit! They had a nice sear from the champagne really tasty and fresh and cooked well. The risotto had a creamy Parmesan flavour and a nice soft texture.
What's great here as well is there's a QR code on the table you can scan and pay whenever you're ready, rather than having to wave down your server. However, our server made a slight boo-boo and put our bill on table 161 instead of 160 so we had to wave him down anyway.
They also have a little take-out bar separate from the restaurant for drinks and pastries. We didn't try any but this might be a good option for breakfast on the way to the parks in the morning.
Overall we enjoyed our quick lunch at Brasserie Rosalie. Although the prices are on the higher side, especially the soft drinks, a lot of items aren't unreasonable. They will try to push you to pay for Vittel rather than having tap water, so watch out for that if you just ask for water. We didn't have any alcohol as I was driving that day, so we're unsure of those prices. They do serve my favourite 1664 Blanc which seems to have been disappearing from Disneyland Paris recently, I hope it stays. We'll definitely be returning to try out different menu items in the future, and overall this is a very welcome addition for some decent food at Disneyland Paris.
Brasserie Rosalie is not available to book on the Disneyland Paris app, however, you can book online through their website by clicking here. You don't have to book though, you can just walk up and request a table.
