Fleur de Lys is the bar & lounge located inside Disneyland Hotel, Disneyland Paris. It's located next to The Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumiere. It was previously known as Cafe Fantasia before the Disneyland Hotel reimagining. After a few visits, we have written this honest Fleur de Lys review.

Fleur de Lys Review Summary

  • A lovely comfortable lounge with friendly cast members
  • The theming throughout is very nice and fits nicely into the new overall Disneyland Hotel theme
  • You're paying quite a premium for this lounge as the drink prices are quite high

Fleur de Lys Overview

Having only experienced this lounge as Fleur de Lys, I was impressed with the area. It's a nice and relaxing area (even when busy) with comfortable seating (unlike the Redwood Bar & Lounge seats at Disney Sequoia Lodge). When you enter the lounge you're greeted with a cast member who will take you to a seat. Each time we visited we were asked where we'd like to sit, which isn't always the case in other Disneyland Paris bars (or bars in general). The cast members that we interacted with were all friendly, nice and enthusiastic.

Fleur de Lys

There are some nice, different seating areas, each with its own seats and sofas. The aesthetic (which follows throughout the hotel) is a mix of old-fashioned and modern, which I really like. The first time we visited Fleur de Lys, it was quite busy but still had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Fleur de Lys

There is a bar seating area with high stools which I know some people prefer, but it can be quite hectic up there when they're making drinks constantly. It's a good seat if you want to watch the drinks being made to see what some of the cocktails look like.

Fleur de Lys Menu

When you're taken to your seat you'll be presented with quite an extensive menu. There's a good range of unique drinks, and as you can imagine, focused on champagne. Click on the image below to open up a full-resolution version to zoom in and see more detail.

A few of the menu items aren't on the menu outside (like the soft drinks and coffee collections) which you can see below.

Fleur de Lys Drinks

We visited Fleur de Lys twice and on the first visit, we ordered Champagne Coronation and Sweet Kingdom.

Fleur de Lys

Champagne Coronation €28 (right) was nice, fruity, and refreshing. Wasn't particularly strong but the little biscuit on top is a nice touch. The Sweet Kingdom €28 (left) was super weird. There wasn't much amaretto in it and the texture reminded me of blended limes with bits of biscuit in it which made it tough to drink. It was interesting and not something I'd had before, but I couldn't drink it all, and wouldn't have it again.

Fleur de Lys

On our second visit we had the French 75 €25 (left) which was strong, zesty, and tasty. After my Sweet Kingdom experience, I decided to play it safe and went with my go-to cocktail, the Espresso Martini €21 (right). The Espresso Martini was delicious and a fantastic blend of smoothness, strength and taste. It was very well made and I really enjoyed this blend. This second round was much better (and cheaper) than the first.

Fleur de Lys Prices

As you might have noticed reading through our drinks above, those are some hefty prices. While you would expect a premium to enjoy drinks in this magnificent hotel and lounge, this is more of a premium than I thought there would be, especially when some of the drinks are just standard and for sale elsewhere across Disneyland Paris at half the cost. While it was never overly busy in the lounge, when looking around people weren’t ordering the fancy expensive cocktails, they were mainly just having a coffee or a beer, with a couple of tables sharing a bottle of champagne in a larger group. Soft drinks also carry quite a premium. It’s €9 for a 33cl bottle of Diet Coke, which is likely to keep people away so the lounge isn't full of people just ordering cheap soft drinks, so keep that in mind.

Fleur de Lys Summary

The Fleur de Lys lounge is a really nice area, although there's quite a premium for it. At least for us (which of course won't apply to everyone and the people this Disneyland Hotel is largely targeted at) isn't a place we can hang over for long periods as it would get very expensive just after a couple of rounds. However, we really enjoyed our second round of French 75 and Espresso Martini, and if we ever go back would go for those drinks.

Even though I enjoy champagne and champagne cocktails, I think I prefer the cocktails at the Skyline Bar at Disney Hotel New York - The Art Of Marvel. We were happy with the experience and service overall, and if the prices do not bother you, you'll be happy with this lounge and the cast members who work there. Disney has done a really nice job with this lounge and it sits firmly in second place after the Skyline Bar.
