Disney Hotel Cheyenne is the Toy Story hotel at Disneyland Paris, a 3-star on-site hotel themed to the Wild West and Woody's Roundup from Toy Story 2, and we rate it 4 out of 5 after three stays. It's one of the more affordable Disneyland Paris hotels and is often cheaper than Disney Sequoia Lodge, so it's worth a look even if Toy Story isn't your thing. This is our honest Disney Hotel Cheyenne review, covering the rooms, prices, dining and whether it's worth booking.

Article Summary

  • Our rating: 4 out of 5 after three stays, twice near the hotel facilities and once in a Classic Room

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Review: Quick Navigation

About Disney Hotel Cheyenne

Disney Hotel Cheyenne opened in April 1992 alongside the rest of what was then Euro Disney, and was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the same firm behind Disney Newport Bay Club. It's built as a Wild West frontier town rather than one big hotel block, with 1,000 rooms spread across 14 buildings, each named after a Wild West icon. The rooms were re-themed around Woody's Roundup, the TV show from Toy Story 2, in a refurbishment completed in 2017, and the hotel moved up from 2-star to 3-star afterwards. Keep in mind Disney grades its own hotels on its own scale, so a Disney 3-star might not line up exactly with what you'd expect from a 3-star back home. You can see the full listing on Disneyland Paris's official Disney Hotel Cheyenne page. The address is Rue du Boeuf Agile, 77700 Coupvray, and you may still see it listed under its old name, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne.

Those Woody's Roundup rooms, along with the daily Woody and Jessie meets, are why Cheyenne is known as the Toy Story hotel at Disneyland Paris, though outside the rooms it's mostly Wild West. It's one of two 3-star on-site Disney hotels, along with Disney Sequoia Lodge, while Disney Hotel Santa Fe sits next door as a 2-star. There's no swimming pool at Cheyenne and no club-level rooms either. For club level you'd need Sequoia Lodge's Golden Forest Club, Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, Disney Newport Bay Club or the Disneyland Hotel. What Cheyenne does have is a Starbucks, play areas indoors and out, and a daily Woody or Jessie meet you won't find at any other Disney hotel.

If that sounds like your kind of stay, search dates for Disney Hotel Cheyenne here to see both room types and live prices.

Where Is Disney Hotel Cheyenne?

Disney lists Disney Hotel Cheyenne as a 20-minute walk from the parks, and we've found 15 to 20 minutes about right, a little longer once your feet have done a full day of queueing. For comparison, Disney puts Disney Sequoia Lodge and Disney Newport Bay Club at 15 minutes and Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel at 10, so Cheyenne and Santa Fe are the longest walks of the on-site hotels you can walk from.

Disneyland Paris map showing the location of Disney Hotel Cheyenne
Disneyland Paris map showing the location of Disney Hotel Cheyenne

How long it takes also depends on which building you're in. Rooms on the side of the hotel nearest the parks shave a few minutes off, while rooms over by the main building add a few on. We find the walk fine, but on the way back after a long day, once you pass the turning for Sequoia Lodge there's still at least another 5 minutes of walking ahead of you.

If you'd rather not walk, the free shuttle bus stops outside the main building and takes around 8 to 10 minutes to reach the parks. Our own routine is a Starbucks coffee from the hotel and the walk in, which turns the distance into part of the morning. If being closer to the parks matters more to you than price, compare hotels on the Disneyland Paris price calendar here.

How Much Does Disney Hotel Cheyenne Cost?

Most people weighing up a Disneyland Paris hotel end up choosing between Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Sequoia Lodge, as the two share the same star rating and a similar price bracket. Disney Hotel Santa Fe usually costs less as a 2-star hotel, while Disney Newport Bay Club, Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel and the Disneyland Hotel all cost more.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne is usually booked as a hotel and ticket package. For 2 adults on a 1-night stay with 2-day park tickets included, 2027 prices range from £447 to £794, or £223.50 to £397 per person. The nightly price can look high at first, but it includes park tickets for every day of your stay, including your check-in and check-out days. The same stay at Disney Sequoia Lodge ranges from £484 to £832, or £242 to £416 per person. Cheyenne is cheaper on many dates, but on some it's the more expensive of the two, so the Disneyland Paris price estimate calendar is the best way to compare them for your dates.

Hotel Cheapest Night In 2027 Dearest Night In 2027
Disney Hotel Cheyenne £447 (£223.50 per person) £794 (£397 per person)
Disney Sequoia Lodge £484 (£242 per person) £832 (£416 per person)

Price for 2 adults on a 1-night stay with 2-day park tickets included, correct on 11th October 2026. The cheapest and dearest nights can fall on different dates for each hotel.

Keep in mind Disneyland Paris uses dynamic pricing, so 2027 prices can rise above these figures as dates fill up, and booking early is the way to get the lowest prices. In September 2026, Disneyland Paris opened bookings for dates up to March 2028, and a 1-night stay at Cheyenne in January 2028 starts from £372 for 2 adults, or £186 per person.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Room Types

Disney sells two room types at Cheyenne. Both have the same Toy Story theming, and the difference comes down to the beds and where the room is. The Classic Room has 1 double bed and 1 pull-out bed, while the Classic Room Near Hotel Facilities has 2 double beds and puts you closer to the main building with reception and the restaurant.

Room Type Beds Example Price Best Suited For
Classic Room 1 double bed and 1 pull-out bed £183.61 per person per night Couples, or families whose children can use the pull-out bed
Classic Room Near Hotel Facilities 2 double beds £199.82 per person per night More than 2 adults sharing, or anyone who wants to be close to the main building

Example prices from the same Disney search, taxes and fees included. Both room types can be booked for up to 4 adults. Your dates will price differently.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne bed types and room locations
Disney Hotel Cheyenne bed types and room locations

In that search, the near-facilities room cost £16.21 more per person per night than the Classic Room, or £97.22 more on the total for the same stay. We've stayed in both, and on location alone we didn't feel the upgrade was needed. The rooms near the main building add a little to the walk to the parks, but they're closer to the shuttle bus stop. So if you plan to walk, a Classic Room may suit you better, and if you'll use the shuttle, the near-facilities rooms are handier. Either way, we're only talking a few minutes. The bigger difference is the beds. The pull-out bed in the Classic Room is uncomfortable for adults, so if there are more than 2 adults sharing, the room with 2 double beds is the one to book.

Both room types show up when you search Disney Hotel Cheyenne dates here, so you can compare the two prices for your stay.

Checking In At Disney Hotel Cheyenne

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am, the same as every Disneyland Paris hotel. We tend to arrive well before 3pm, and on two of our three stays the room wasn't ready yet, so we checked in, left our bags at the free luggage storage and went straight to the parks. On the other stay our room was ready as soon as we arrived.

Reception has never kept us waiting long, and you can check in on the Disneyland Paris app before you arrive to speed things up further. Parking is free, and so is the Wi-Fi.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Lobby And Character Meets

The lobby is smaller than the one at Disney Sequoia Lodge, but it has a similar feel thanks to all the dark wood. There's a small seating area, with walkways leading off to the restaurant and bar and the General Store shop just off to the side. We were surprised by how much we liked it the first time we walked in. It has a nice subtle smell of its own too, something Disney Newport Bay Club lacks and the Disneyland Hotel, Sequoia Lodge and Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel do very well.

Woody or Jessie come out to meet guests in the lobby every morning for around 2 hours, somewhere between 8am and 11am. They take turns, so you'll see one or the other but never both together, and the exact times change from month to month. Disney says Cheyenne is the only Disney hotel where you can meet them, and it saves you a long character queue in the parks, so for a young Toy Story fan this is the place to stay. There's also a small indoor play area in the lobby for younger children.

What Are The Disney Hotel Cheyenne Rooms Like?

Here are our photos of the two room layouts, starting with the 2 double beds you get in a Classic Room Near Hotel Facilities.

We've always liked the rooms at Disney Hotel Cheyenne, and they've grown on us with every stay. Like Sequoia Lodge, they share the dark wood look of the lobby, which is a look we like. Cheyenne adds Toy Story touches throughout, like the cowboy boot lamp and cow-print bedding, and they work well without going over the top.

There are 2 EU sockets, 1 UK socket and 2 USB-A ports, so you can charge a phone from home without an adaptor. With only one UK socket, though, we'd still pack an extension lead and a couple of EU adaptors. There's plenty of drawer and hanging space, plus a safe, but there's no fridge in the room, the same as the standard rooms at Sequoia Lodge. The bathroom is basic and starting to show its age, though clean and in good condition, and the water pressure is good. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows, and we've slept well on every stay. The pull-out bed in the Classic Room is uncomfortable for adults, but kids seem to be fine with it.

Every room now has a kettle and a Lavazza coffee machine, which replaced the old communal coffee machines. The downside is there's no way to make a hot chocolate any more, so bring your own sachets or pick one up from the Starbucks.

Disney lists international TV channels, but we couldn't find any English ones on our stays and the TV system is painfully slow. That doesn't bother us, but keep it in mind if you're relying on the telly to settle the kids at bedtime.

Does Disney Hotel Cheyenne Have Air Conditioning?

Yes, every room at Disney Hotel Cheyenne has air conditioning, and the rooms have a ceiling fan as well. Sequoia Lodge rooms don't have a fan, and in our Sequoia Lodge review we found the air conditioning there only took the edge off on hot days. We explain why in the air conditioning section of our Disney Sequoia Lodge review. The ceiling fan gives you a backup on hot summer days, which helps because we found the air conditioning at Cheyenne adequate rather than powerful, much like at Sequoia Lodge.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Restaurants And Bars

Chuck Wagon Cafe is Cheyenne's all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant, with ribs and chicken smoked on site. Dinner runs from 6pm to 10.30pm and costs €40 per adult and €22 per child, including a soft drink. You can see the full Chuck Wagon Cafe menu on Disneyland Paris's website, and if you have a Disneyland Paris meal plan, you can use a meal voucher here instead of paying.

The Red Garter Saloon is the hotel bar, set up as a Wild West saloon with country music playing. We found the drinks list on the short side, but it's a nicely themed spot for a drink or two.

For coffee drinkers, the full-service Starbucks is one of the best things about the hotel. It means you can skip the morning queues at the Disney Village Starbucks. Disney Hotel Santa Fe has a Starbucks as well, but Sequoia Lodge doesn't.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Breakfast

Breakfast isn't included in a standard booking. It's served at Chuck Wagon Cafe from 7am to 11am and costs €25 (about £21) per adult and €20 (about £17) per child if you pay on the day, or it's included if your Disneyland Paris meal plan covers breakfast.

We'd call it OK. There's a good selection of hot and cold food, including a pancake machine, and while the quality won't blow you away, it's good enough and there's plenty to fill you up before a day in the parks.

The hotel's Laundry building has a self-service laundromat, which costs extra, along with vending machines and an ice machine. Outside, there are play forts and covered wagons for kids to explore, on top of the indoor play area in the lobby.

Does Disney Hotel Cheyenne Have A Pool?

No, there's no swimming pool at Disney Hotel Cheyenne, and Disney Hotel Santa Fe next door doesn't have one either. If a pool matters to your trip, Disney Sequoia Lodge is one of the cheapest on-site hotels with one, with indoor and outdoor sections and a small waterslide. Since the two hotels are often close in price, compare both on the Disneyland Paris price calendar here before you book.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Included Amenities And Perks

  • Park tickets for every day of your stay when you book a hotel and ticket package, including your check-in and check-out days
  • Extra Magic Time, Disney's name for early entry to the parks before the general public
  • The option to add a Disneyland Paris meal plan, which is only sold to Disney Hotel guests
  • Your Magic Pass, handed to you at check-in
  • Concierge desk
  • Free parking
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Free luggage storage
  • Free safety deposit box
  • Shopping delivery service, so purchases from the parks can be sent back to the hotel
  • Free shuttle bus to the parks

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Theming And Exterior

The Wild West theming starts with the building fronts and carries on inside. The buildings are well spaced out, and walking between them feels like being on a Wild West film set, with saloon-style streets and wooden fences. There is real charm in walking between the hotel buildings. Some of them look a little flat, but others, like the Starbucks and Laundry buildings, have extra wooden details that make them look more three-dimensional. It's themed enough to feel like a proper Disney hotel, while the Toy Story side stays subtle and is kept mostly to the rooms, so if you don't want Disney in your face for the whole stay, it doesn't overdo it.

Our Top Tips For Staying At Disney Hotel Cheyenne

  1. Check in on the Disneyland Paris app before you arrive to save time at reception.
  2. Be in the lobby between 8am and 11am if you want a photo with Woody or Jessie, and ask a cast member what time they're due that day.
  3. Book the Classic Room Near Hotel Facilities if more than 2 adults are sharing, since the Classic Room's pull-out bed isn't comfortable for grown-ups.
  4. Grab a Starbucks before the 15 to 20-minute walk to the parks, or take the shuttle once your legs have had enough.
  5. Bring hot chocolate sachets if you want one in the room, as the coffee machines don't make it.

Is Disney Hotel Cheyenne Worth It?

So is Disney Hotel Cheyenne any good? Yes. It's a fun, well-themed 3-star with charming building fronts and a lovely setting. It appeals most to kids, and kids at heart, who love Toy Story, with daily Woody or Jessie meets and play areas indoors and out. The theming is subtle enough that adults who don't want Disney everywhere won't feel smothered by it, and the rooms are comfortable and well themed.

On the flip side, the walk to the parks is 15 to 20 minutes, longer than every other on-site hotel you can walk from except Santa Fe, and there's no pool, though that won't matter to everyone. The Classic Room's pull-out bed isn't comfortable for adults either, and while we like the rooms, the bathrooms are showing their age, which is why it's a 4 rather than a 4.5 or 5 from us.

Personally, Disney Sequoia Lodge suits us better on theme and distance, so on dates where the two cost the same, we'd still pick Sequoia Lodge. When Cheyenne is cheaper, which happens often, we're happy to book it, and we've enjoyed every stay there.

How To Book Disney Hotel Cheyenne

To book a hotel and ticket package from the UK, search Disney Hotel Cheyenne dates direct with Disney. If you'd rather have transport included, book through Disney Holidays instead, which can add flights, P&O Ferries, Eurotunnel or Eurostar. Eurostar runs from London St Pancras to Lille Europe, where you change onto a TGV to Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy, the station next to the parks.

Flights in Disney Holidays packages leave from the London airports as well as Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast International, which saves a trip down to London if you live further north or west. If you'd rather book flights yourself, compare flight prices into Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly first, since booking separately sometimes works out cheaper than the package and sometimes doesn't.

To get from the airport to Disneyland Paris, you can take the train, a taxi or a private transfer, or use the official Magical Shuttle coach service.

You can book a room-only stay through Hotels.com, but unless you already have park tickets, such as a Disneyland Paris annual pass, a hotel and ticket package direct with Disney usually works out cheaper overall, as Disney builds a small ticket discount into its packages.

If you need tickets and transport sorted in one go, see Disney Holidays transport packages for Cheyenne here.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne Offers

Mickey From The UK Review Policy

Our reviews are based on our own visits, our own experience and our own money unless we say otherwise. We're honest with both the good and the not-so-good. When that happens, the aim isn't to put you off Disney - it's to point you towards a better option, whether that's a different restaurant, hotel or experience. We want your time and money going towards the parts of the trip that will make it even better - which is good for you, and good for Disney too.
